what's a persocon?
In Japan people call PCs, Persocons (or Persocom, depending on your preference). In Chobits this term refers to the human-like (usually, they can be animals too) robots populating the cities. They look and feel and act like living creatures. They can do your homework, chores, send e-mail or surf the web. Every persocons has some kind of strange ears that can open. Inside there is a cord that can be hooked up to a TV, computer, or another persocon to do stuff like search the web or find information. Even though persocons may seem real they do not have any real feelings. Persocons are usually in human shape, mainly girls. They do also come in males. You can get pocket persocons, like Sumomo. You can also get persocons in the shape of other things, like Yumi’s rabbit like key chain persocon. Most people have a persocon, but they are really expensive.
