Kotoko is the pocket persocon created by Yoshiyuki. She is usually very serious and gets offended easily, but she can show sympathy. She is very bitter towards Yoshiyuki. We do not see her until Yoshiyuki kidnaps Chii.
Kotoko is, in fact, a very unhappy persocon. Yoshiyuki is always looking for the newest toys and easily forgets about his old creations. When he is talking to Chii he calls her very special, and Kotoko realizes that she is not. Chii asks Kotoko if Yoshiyuki loves her and she says he used to, but he has new interests now. Because of this Kotoko holds a grudge against Chii until she realizes how nice Chii really is.
Kotoko is also very useful in the fact that Yoshiyuki made her so that she would always tell the truth. Not very good for Yoshiyuki, but helpful for Hideki and co. when they come to rescue Chii. They also take Kotoko back to Hideki’s place with them. While she is very frightened of how Hideki runs his house (with Chii, Sumomo, and Kotoko there), she also seems a bit happier. She is useful to them and Sumomo pays LOTS of attention to her. They are very cute together because they are such opposites.
All in all, Kotoko is a very entertaining character and she has quite a personality, especially when she gets mad.
