Hideki is helping Shinbo and Shimizu move the things out of Shinbo’s apartment so they can move into a new house together. He then reflects on how it’s like nothing has happened and he says goodbye to Shinbo and Shimizu. He then thinks that something has changed and he wants to know what. Hideki takes Chii with him over to Minoru’s house. Minoru and Yuzuki have been hard at work and Minoru gives Hideki a folder with the data they have collected about Chii in it. Minoru then explains to Hideki the legend of the Chobits series. They are said to be the ultimate persocon. When persocons first started out the developers and the client organization had different ideas. The interference from the Client organization annoyed the developers so they went underground and developed a special persocon called Chobits. Yuzuki brings out some drinks and Minoru gets mad at her for acting like a waitress, when she should be resting (she is the center of his system). He tells her to go rest and takes the tray from her but collapses when he turns around. The doctor says he just needs some sleep and Yuzuki blames herself. Then Kojima Yoshiyuki shows up. Hideki gets all scary and starts beating him up but he explains that Minoru asked for his help. He had told Minoru that the fastest way to get the information about Chobits was to hack into the organization’s main system, but there was the risk of crashing because the system is so advanced. Minoru refused because he didn’t want Yuzuki to crash. Hideki drags Kojima off to make him work extra hard because Minoru needs rest. Chii goes to check on Yuzuki and Minoru and sees a picture of Minoru and his sister Yuzuki (his sister had brown shorter brown hair and glasses). Yuzuki explains to Chii that she is just a copy of his sister and not as useful. She then asks Chii if she would do anything for Hideki. Chii says if Hideki is happy, she is happy and Yuzuki goes and locks herself in the computer room as she tries to hack into the system. Jima (the guy in black on the rooftop) realizes that someone is trying to hack into him and Dita connects herself to him (so they Are persocons!). Yuzuki says that she wants to useful to Minoru, like his sister was. Just as Minoru says that Yuzuki is not his sister Yuzuki starts to download the data. A warning pops up and some of the wires start to explode and Yuzuki collapses. The lock is turned off and they find Yuzuki on the ground. Meanwhile Dita (the girl persocon in black) says that she won’t let anyone get inside of Jima. Jima asks if she’s jealous even though they’re the same type of persocon. When Yuzuki wakes up it turns out she was saved because one of the wires blew out. She did lose Minoru’s sister’s data, but Minoru won’t re-install it because his sister died and no one can replace her, but no one can replace Yuzuki either. Hideki starts to leave and Chii asks what memories are. Then Chii asks if Hideki and Chii have memories and he tells her yes. Minoru comes out to apologize and give Hideki the data that Yuzuki downloaded, which contained some pictures. It then shows Hideki slamming on Hibiya’s door but no one’s home. It flashes back to Hideki looking at the data and it shows a picture of Hibiya in a lab coat with the Chii-look alike persocon and Kojima saying, “Isn’t that the leader of the persocon developers?”
