Hideki is thinking about a horror story he heard at Minoru’s while he is walking home. He was at Minoru’s to learn about the Internet, and ends up hearing a story about these two lovers. The man’s wife used to the signal that the lovers used to draw the woman into the apartment and then stabbed her. The woman supposedly waits there for other victims to come by flicking the lights on and off (the signal the lovers used) on dark rainy days. Hideki sees the lights flickering in one of the rooms of the apartment he lives in and it happens to be a dark rainy day. When Shinbo comes by he finds Hideki hiding in his closet. Shinbo doesn’t believe Hideki, even when he points out that the story said it happened in apartment “G”, room 104, and they live Gabu Jougasaki apartment. After Shinbo leaves Chii scares the living daylights out of Hideki then goes to find out about a sound she heard. Hideki follows her and sees blood coming from the bottom of the door of the room he saw flickering. Hibiya walks by and Hideki decides not to tell her about the room. Hideki’s at work now and is talking about walking into the room and finding a woman holding a knife when he walks into the kitchen and sees Yumi holding a knife. They have a discussion about things that scare them (Yumi’s afraid of black animals). Yumi sees a black cat and knocks Hideki into some crates which all fall on him. After Shinbo carries him back he explains that the apartment doesn’t have a room 104. On the first floor there is Hibiya’s room (101) then two more rooms, 102, and the one Hideki’s scared of room 103. The door is locked on room 103, so Hideki pulls out the plate that’s supposed to have the room number on it from the door. The lights go and lightning crashes. Hideki sees that there is “104” written on the other side of the plate. Later Hideki is studying and Chii is gone. He finds her in front of the room, and she shoves him in where a lady is waiting with a knife, then he wakes up. Shinbo comes over and they head to prep school, but Chii points out that Hideki is standing in front of room 104, with knife lady. This time when he wakes up Yumi is standing there with ice cream in the park. They go for a boat ride but end up at the front of his apartment with room 104’s lights flickering. This time when he wakes up, Shimizu is trying to stop him from falling into a train. They go for a drink and end up at room 104. Finally Hideki wakes up for real in the middle of prep school when the teacher throws something at his head. He tries climbing out of the window so Shinbo goes to get him a drink. They go to Minoru’s house to find out about the curse and all 6 of them (Hideki, Chii, Minoru, Yuzuki, Shinbo, and Sumomo) end up back at the apartment to investigate. They all see the flickering so Shinbo and Sumomo go in. When they don’t come back Minoru and Yuzuki go upstairs to investigate and Hideki and Chii go to find Shinbo. They see a woman opening the door but it turns out to be Hibiya. Turns out, she was cleaning up the room, and was trying to put in a new light bulb (the flickering). She was pushing all the tables around so she could reach (the scraping). Shinbo was helping her (why he was missing). There were actually 4 rooms on the bottom floor (room 104). And the blood was paint Hibiya spilled. This leaves Hideki feeling very stupid. The next morning Chii makes Hideki faint again (she thinks he wants to sleep more) then she hears the noise again. The episode ends with some creepy music and a view of a door. Wow that was pretty long, I need to learn to SUMARIZE!
