Episode 11: Chii Deau (Chii Encounters)

At the beginning of the episode Yumi asks Hideki to go a movie with her and he accepts (he actually got a date!). Chii is at home reading her new book. It is going on about how “that” can make people happy, but “that” will never be a person. Hideki goes to ask Shinbo what to do on a date and he says all this bogus stuff, then says just act like yourself. Hideki does comb his hair for once though. Hideki explains what a date is to Chii and then leaves to go meet Yumi. In Chii’s book, the rabbit, Atashi, is talking to a pink version of itself about if she will ever find the person right for her. During the movie Hideki is imagining himself and Yumi in the romantic scenes. (Yumi: Senpai, did something happen?) Atashi is still talking to its pinks self about how it’s hard to change people’s hearts unlike “that”. Chii is standing on a lamppost and finally meets Dark Chii. Dark Chii says that she is Chii and tells Chii that even though Chii can’t remember, Dark Chii remembers what happened before Chii met Hideki. Dark Chii says that Dark Chii and Chii will always be together. After the movie Yumi talks about how she is jealous of persocons, but Hideki says that no matter how cute they are they are still not human. They go on a boat ride and they see Minoru and Yuzuki. Hideki falls out of the boat. Yumi goes off with Yuzuki to get dry sandals for Hideki. Minoru tells Hideki about how Yuzuki is a copy of his sister who died 2 years ago from an illness. This is why he told Hideki not to fall in love with persocons. Minoru says sometimes he wants to forget that Yuzuki is a persocon. Then Minoru talks about how Hideki should lose his virginity soon (Shinbo sent him an e-mail).
