Chii is looking for something to buy with her paycheck. She really wants to get Hideki something so she goes to the bookstore. She finds him a porno magazine that he doesn’t have yet. While she is in the checkout line she sees the second book in the “A Town Without Anyone” series, called “My One and Only”. While Hideki is at home worrying about Chii out by herself Shinbo comes over to invite him to the bath. At the bath Shinbo explains how persocons should take baths every now and then, giving Hideki something new to worry about. When he gets home Hideki tries to teach Chii how to take a bath but then he sees the magazine she got him and can’t do it. Shinbo comes over with Sumomo and has her try to find instructions off the Internet, but she keeps getting them from the wrong kinds of sites. The next Minoru calls Hideki and says he has to show him something. They meet at a café and Hideki asks Minoru how to teach Chii to take a bath. Minoru tells him to show her himself. Then Minoru shows Hideki a picture of what looks like Chii with a whole bunch of wires sticking out of her back that he got from an anonymous person. On the persocons leg it says “hobit” with the persocons arm covering the first letter. Could it be a c? On the way home Hideki thinks of how many persocons there are in the world. At home Hideki tries to teach Chii what to do at the bathhouse. When they get there Chii follows Hideki into the men’s side because she wants to be with him. Luckily Hibiya shows up and helps Chii take a bath. At home Hideki shows Chii the picture he got from Minoru but Chii says it isn’t her. Hideki finds out that Chii also bought the “My One and Only” book from the bookstore and is glad that she spent her salary on herself also.
