And so begins the first of many episodes that feature Hideki’s money problems. It starts with Hideki trying to teach Chii words. He also teaches her his name, and a funny scene ensures, which Chii starts calling everything Hideki (you’d just have to see it). Hideki also starts his cram school in this episode, and we get introduced to Hideki and Shinbo’s new teacher, Shimizu-sensei. Hideki really needs to get a hold of his self around cute girls. And so begins the quest for a job. After having not much luck, Hideki gets water splashed all over himself by a cute high school girl (Yumi) and ends up getting a job at the restaurant she works at, called Yorokonde (Happy Tavern). Yumi helps Hideki write his resume, and Hideki makes a fool of himself again (what have I said a bout getting a hold of yourself?!). Then Hideki attempts to teach Chii about happiness, and we end another interesting episode of Chobits.
