The first episode starts out showing Hideki’s home life, and how he grew up on a farm. It goes on to show he failed the entrance exam for the University he was going to attend, and thus is a Ronin. He decides to go to Tokyo for cram school. Once he gets to Tokyo he is surprised at how so many people have persocons. He has never seen one, living the country all his life. After finding his apartment and meeting his landlady, he meets Shinbo and after attacked by Sumomo they discuss the er…advantages of persocons. Jump to a scene where Hideki is walking home from the store, wishing he could get a persocon. And guess what, there’s one just lying in the trash! After recovering from the shock that it wasn’t a murdered person, he drags her home (and fails to notice a small dick fall off of her) and try’s to turn her on. Four hours later he still hasn’t found the on switch. Realizing it must be down there, he finally turns her on. All she can say is Chii, so that becomes her name. Hideki attempts to hide her from Shinbo, because, she’s well, naked. Hideki is going to have his hands full from now on. . .
