The manga-ka group, Clamp, created Chobits. Although Clamp used to have many more members, it now only consists of a group of 4. Clamp is one of the most famous manga-ka out there. They have created such masterpieces as Tokyo Babylon, Magic Knight Rayearth, X, and Card Captor Sakura. One of their most recent works is the popular Angelic Layer.
The 4 ladies in Clamp never much come out in public but I have found some real life pictures of them (I dunno how old they are in the pictures so don't ask) which you can see by clicking the (picture) by their name. The pictures were from Portale Manga e Anime (spanish). There were also chibi drawings of them at the back of wish, which are below. They are:

I think they have named a character out of one of their mangas after every one of them.
Clamp has done many, many mangas. Their first were darker and more tragic. They have gotten more cheerful lately. They have done a few comedies, they have done mangas for little kids, and Chobits is aimed at a little bit older of an audience. So you cant say that Clamp does just one Genre. I really like Clamps works, they are beautiful, have great story lines, and likeable characters. I would recommend at least one of their works to any age or type of person.
