what's a chobit?
Now that you know what a persocon is, hopefully, I’ll tell you about Chobits. According to Minoru, Chobits are a type of legendary persocon. They are able to operate without an operating system. They can learn new things even though they have no data. Minoru believes Chii is a Chobit because none of the other persocons can find her OS. Another thing about Chobits is they have the ability to feel. Chii seems to be Chobit because of this also. When Hideki went to the park with Yumi, Chii got very sad. I also don’t think a normal computer would have an alternate personality (read: Dark Chii). There are also some pictures that Minoru has found that are more proof. The first picture is of a persocon that looks exactly like Chii with a whole bunch of wires sticking out of her back and the word “-hobit” written on her thigh. (Her hand blocks the first part of the word out.) The second picture is of another Chii clone and Hibiya! I will get these pictures up as soon as possible. So, do you think Chii is a Chobit?
