Name: Atashi
Story:Atashi is the bunny that is the main character of the storybook called “The Town Where No One Was” or “The Empty City”. She travels around cities looking for someone just for her, but everyone is always with “that”.
These books are Chii’s favorite books and they affect her greatly because they are telling her story. Atashi is looking for her one and only, just like Chii, and there is even a Dark Atashi. Everything that happens to Atashi happened or is happening to Chii.
The reason there is so much of a resemblance between their lives is because the author of the books is because the author is Hibiya. Hibiya is Chii’s former “mother” and the landlord of the apartment where Chii and Hideki now live. This makes it so she knows everything that is happening with Chii. She promised not to say anything to Chii about her past, so writing these books is the only thing she can do to try and help Chii understand what is going on.
Atashi literally means “I” because that is how Atashi refers to herself throughout all the books.
